Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former two time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
